WiFi Water Leak Sensor or Water Level Sensor?

DAYTECH water sensor can be used as Water Leak Sensor or Water Level Sensor, you can select its working mode by flipping the switch on back.

-As water leak detector, it can be used to monitor kitchen drain leaks, sump pump alarm, bathroom leaks, laundry leaks and more.

-As water level sensor alarm: When the water level is below the monitoring level and the probe cannot reach the water, the water level detector will sound an alarm immediately. The probe is not easily oxidized.

When a leak occurs, the sensors will not only sound a loud alarm(100dB alarm sound will penetrate the whole house), but TUYA App notifications will also be sent to your phone. Alerts pushed by the TUYA APP are free of charge.

Give different names to different sensors in the App, you can clearly know where the leakage happened and deal with it in time. Set the function of sharing information in the APP, your family can also receive alert notifications of water leaks.

Q&A

Does this Water Sensor supports 5G WiFi connectivity?

No. This WiFi water sensor only supports 2.4G WiFi.

Can I turn off the alarm sound from the phone APP?

Yes. The alarm sound will be turned off when you tap the "disarm" button in the TUYA App. But you need to deal with the water leaks, or the alarm on your phone will alert you, unless you turn off the ringer on your cell phone.

Water Sensor Alarm does not emit alarm sound, only receive water leakage alarm notification on the phone, is this OK?

Yes. You can set the water sensor alarm sound to 0dB, the phone can still receive an alarm notification from the TUYA APP.

Will the water sensor get waterlogged and break down?

Use the probe to detect water leakage or water level. Put the main part of water sensor in the right place, so you don't have to worry about the alarm getting into the water and breaking down.
